
(Leesburg, Fla.) – Christian Colletti has been hired as assistant operations manager by the Florida Agricultural Marketing Association (FAMA), the direct-marketing subsidiary of the Gainesville-based Florida Farm Bureau Federation. Colletti attended high school in Oviedo and later attended the University of Alaska, Fairbanks, on a shooting scholarship, majoring in wildlife biology. He later studied criminal justice at Valencia Community College. He has a four-year-old son, Christian.
Colletti will assist with sales to Farm Bureau members through the Farm Bureau Buyers’ Club and will be responsible for billing, sales, customer relations, product acquisition, distribution of FAMA products and record keeping, according to FAMA Director Roy Singleton. FAMA’s headquarters are in Leesburg.
Members of the Florida Farm Bureau Federation can purchase FAMA’s “Florida’s Best” brand products at county Farm Bureau offices. FAMA also markets its “Florida’s Best” brand products across the country to state Farm Bureau’s and other organizations for fund raising.
The Florida Farm Bureau Federation is the state’s largest general-interest agricultural association with about 138,000 member-families statewide. Headquartered in Gainesville, the Federation is an independent, nonprofit agricultural organization.
