Notice To All K-12th Grade Teachers

Does your school budget forbid you from starting a new project? Here's your chance! There is money available to you for integrating agriculture in your classroom.

All kindergarten through 12th grade educators are welcome to apply. Florida Farm Bureau Agriculture in the Classroom (FFB-AITC) is pleased to offer a Mini-Grant program for educators during the school year. This FFB-AITC grant is a public/private partnership serving K-12th grade education with a goal of helping to increase the understanding of agriculture among students and educators. The program is administered through the Florida Farm Bureau, Florida's oldest and largest general farm organization.

A total of up to $7,500 may be awarded in mini-grants throughout the state by Florida Farm Bureau during the year.

Integrating Agriculture Has No Boundaries

This FFB-AITC Mini-Grant program offers cash awards to help educators more effectively integrate agriculture into their curriculum. Agriculture has no subject area boundaries, and entries are encouraged in:

• Social Studies
• Math
• Language Arts
• Science
• Environmental Education
• Any other subject area or combination of areas that effectively integrate key agricultural principles i.e., production, promotion, etc.
