SUMMARY:Jackson County Farm-City Week Dinner
DESCRIPTION:300 guests will celebrate the relationship of rural and urban b
 usinesses in the local agricultural industry in Jackson County. This will 
 be the 49th year of a farm city celebration in Jackson County. After a mea
 l of barbecued brisket\, there will be an opportunity to hear highlights f
 rom our FFA and 4-H youth. The highlight of the event will be the award re
 cognitions and the sharing of stories of successful farm families in the c
 ounty. New this year we will also be recognizing non-ag businesses and vol
 unteers who have made a significant contribution for the agricultural orga
 nizations.\n\nDress for this event is what I call "Best Western" or Busine
 ss Casual. Suits &amp\; ties and formal dresses are not expected or encour
 aged. Wear your favorite western or button-down shirt and either khaki pan
 ts or nice jeans and cowboy boots. Printed tickets are not required\, as t
 his advanced registration is adequate for attendance. We will have a print
 ed list of attendees at the registration desk at the event.\n\nFacility do
 ors will be open at 5:30 PM\, with the program beginning promptly at 6:00 
 PM.\n\nThis is event is sponsored by the Jackson County Farm Bureau\, Jack
 son County Cattlemen's Association\, Jackson Soil &amp\; Water Conservatio
