Gainesville, Fla. – Florida Farm Bureau has received top marks for its achievements during the past year. The statewide organization won the American Farm Bureau Federation’s 2013 State Awards of Excellence in all six categories of operations evaluated.
Announced today, the awards recognize outstanding work in member services, membership initiatives, education and outreach, leadership development, policy development and implementation and public relations and communications.
“I am proud of the dedication and superb effort that made these honors possible,” said Florida Farm Bureau President John Hoblick. “Our state board members, our county Farm Bureau leaders, our members at large and our state staff have all contributed as a unified team. Because of their hard work collectively, we have received the awards as an organization. They make Florida Farm Bureau one of the best member service associations in our nation.”
A panel of judges selected from across the nation determined the award designations. American Farm Bureau Federation officials will present the awards during the national group’s annual meeting in San Antonio in January.
