Feb. 15, 2016
Today marks the start of Food Check-Out Week, Feb. 15-20. Farm Bureau members throughout the state will celebrate the abundant, nutritious food supply for all Floridians this week.
Florida farmers produce more than 300 different commodities and generate more than $148 billion in annual economic impact.
To celebrate the contributions of agriculture to our state and world, Farm Bureau volunteers will host various events to celebrate the nutritious food supply in our country.
Sample events include educational and food displays at local grocery stores, food drives and contributions to different charities.
