Welcome to the latest issue of our FloridAgriculture publication. Designed for both our farm and consumer member families, FloridAgriculture focuses on rural lifestyles, food stories and agricultural issues important to all Floridians.
Florida Farm Bureaus
Hillsborough County Farm Bureau
Hillsborough County Farm Bureau hosted the Ag-abilities program. This program introduces students with physical, mental and learning disabilities to agriculture through hands-on projects, contests, one-on-one small equipment driving lessons and much more!
Students from Caminiti Exceptional Center, Middleton High, Durant High, Turkey Creek Middle and Greco Middle schools in Hillsborough County participated in the program this year.
Volunteers from HCFB, Rabo Agri-finance, UF IFAS, FDACS, Florida Strawberry Growers, The Nature Conservancy and several other groups and individuals donated their time and resources to the program.
