DeSoto/Charlotte County Farm Bureau
AgVenture
The DeSoto-Charlotte Ag Venture program is a collaboration of many volunteers including Farm Bureau members, farmers and ranchers, community members and local FFA and 4-H students. The hands-on agricultural learning event welcomes more than 300 elementary students each year. Students learn about the importance of agriculture and the different commodities grown in Florida. The event is also the venue for the Florida Ag Literacy Day book reading.
