Pat Cockrell Lifetime Achievement Award

The Pat Cockrell Achievement Award honors Florida Farm Bureau employees who have displayed exemplary, long-term service to the organization. It is presented at the Florida Farm Bureau Annual Meeting in October.

The inaugural award is named in honor of Florida Farm Bureau’s past employee, the late Pat Cockrell. During his 35-year tenure, Cockrell’s keen knowledge of agriculture was invaluable to all those affected by agriculture.

Shortly after Cockrell’s induction into the Florida Agricultural Hall of Fame in February 2011, he lost a years-long battle with cancer.
