Leon County Serves Ronald McDonald House for Food Check-Out Week
According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the average American family earns enough disposable income in five weeks to purchase an entire years’ worth of groceries. Leon County Farm Bureau celebrates the affordability and availability of nutritious foods during Food Check-Out Week in February by donating groceries to the Ronald McDonald House in Tallahassee. Employees and volunteers also prepare lunch for Ronald McDonald House members and staff.
