Hardee County Farm Bureau
Hardee County Farm Bureau is actively involved in activities that support local youth, including Ag-Fest and the county fair. For more than 25 years, Ag-Fest has provided a hands-on, interactive experience in local agriculture. Stations are set up to teach fourth graders about agricultural operations in the area and allow them to meet local farmers and ranchers.
During the county fair, livestock and citrus exhibitors receive shirts donated by the board to show support for the work 4-H and FFA do to teach youth the value of agriculture. Hardee County Young Farmers & Ranchers also builds garden beds and delivers garden supplies to 4-H members interested in growing vegetables as a spring project.
