St. Lucie County Farm Bureau
Sporting Clay Shoot
The St Lucie County Farm Bureau Annual Bryan D. Schirard Memorial Sporting Clay Shoot is an event held each spring at the Quail Creek Plantation in Okeechobee. The fundraising event is to benefit the St. Lucie County Farm Bureau Youth Enhancement Fund. Farm Bureau members, volunteers and sponsors have worked to turn this decade event into a success. The day’s festivities include raffle prizes, gun raffles, a silent auction and a delicious steak and crab claw lunch with all the fixings. The goal of the Clay Shoot is to increase awareness and enthusiasm for Farm Bureau programs such as Ag-in-The-Classroom and the teacher Mini-Grants which were created to educate the community about the importance of agriculture.
