UF students and the greater Gainesville community are invited March 13 and 14 to a very exciting College of Agricultural and Life Sciences Solutions Seminar, featuring Canadian farmer Chris Koch.
Chris was born with no arms and legs, yet despite the challenges he faces, he chooses to take life in stride and make the best of every situation he is presented with. He spreads the message of “If I can” to the public (http://www.ifican.ca/). He has not let limitations and obstacles stand in the way of achieving his goals. Chris uses his message to inspire others to do the same. Watch his story here.
Chris will speak Monday night, March 13 at the UF Reitz Union Ballroom. Registration begins at 5:30, with the program starting at 6. Refreshments and door prizes will take place around 7:15. Register for Monday’s program here.
Chris will repeat his presentation on Tuesday, March 14 at 9 a.m. at the UF/IFAS Straughn Center. Registration begins at 8:30, with the program starting at 9. Register here.
Come to one or come to both. Everyone is invited, but space is limited. Register early. Spread the word about Chris Koch and his inspiring story!
This program is sponsored by the UF/IFAS Center for Leadership, the UF/IFAS College of Agricultural and Life Sciences, Florida Farm Bureau, and UF Agricultural Communicators and Leaders of Tomorrow.
