We are excited you have decided to join us at the 2017 Young Farmers and Ranchers Leadership Conference to be held in Punta Gorda, FL, July 14 – 16, 2017.
This year’s theme is “Hooked on Agriculture” and we could not have a better location to get “hooked” than the Charlotte Harbor Event & Conference Center in Punta Gorda.
Located on the edge of the Charlotte Harbor waterfront in beautiful South Florida, you can wander through the unique shops and cobblestone streets through revitalized downtown Punta Gorda. Just steps from the hotel you can experience this boating town’s rich history via outdoor murals, trolley tours, museums and restored period homes. Our hotel features 106 well-appointed rooms with an outdoor heated pool, fitness facility and tennis, golf, sand volleyball and beaches nearby.
This year’s YF&R Conference will offer more breakout sessions and opportunities to learn about various topics affecting the agriculture industry and businesses.
The first night of the Conference will host keynote speaker Chad Prather, better known as the armchair philosopher, as he is most notably recognized in a cowboy hat, speaking to the camera from the cab of his truck, expounding on the world’s problems.
The Conference will also feature the preliminary Florida Farm Bureau Discussion Meet, as well as an annual Volleyball Tournament.
