Danielle Daum

Danielle is among the third generation to work in the family caladium and citrus business, Happiness  Farms, Inc.  Happiness Farms, Inc. is the largest producer of caladium bulbs in the world.  The crop is shipped to the worldwide market; wholesale and retail.

She has been married to her husband DW, who is a graduate of Florida Southern with a BS in Citrus Business, for 23 years.  They have a son, Laine, who is 20, and daughter, Lydia, who is 18.  Danielle is a graduate of Florida Southern College with a degree in elementary and special education.  Her love of agriculture, her farming background and training in education inspire and drive her to share the importance of agriculture with everyone.

Danielle is one of the founders and chairmen of Highlands County Ag-Venture, Inc. which is currently in its 17th year.  She is always eager to assist other counties in starting their own programs.  She has served as secretary of Highlands County Cattlewomen for 12 years and serves on the Highlands County Farm Bureau Board of Directors as well as the Highlands/Okeechobee FSA Committee.
