Chuck Chats Beef in the Kitchen

August 9, 2019

Beef. It’s What’s for Dinner is using technology to help consumers make better purchasing decisions about beef.

Chuck is a new virtual resource that takes the guessing out of beef selection while at the grocery store or what recipe to try.

Funded by beef farmers and ranchers, Chuck provides a wealth of beef knowledge, from defining beef cuts, temperature selection, protein count and various recipes.

The sassy virtual assistant can be asked various beef-related questions such as “Chuck, how much protein is in beef?”, “Chuck, show me recipes for flank steak” or “Chuck, how is beef raised.”

In a recent study conducted by the The National Cattlemen’s Beef Association, 70 % of consumers agreed that technical support would be helpful when shopping for beef.

“Chuck is an ideal solution for bridging the gap between consumers’ love of beef and increasing use of technology in the kitchen,” said Season Solorio, Executive Director of Brand Marketing and Communications at the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association.

Chuck can be accessed at ChuckKnowsBeef.com or by enabling Chuck Knows Beef with Amazon Alexa or Google Home Assistant devices.
