Gainesville – The American Farm Bureau Federation has presented Florida Farm Bureau with the national organization’s Pinnacle Award for 2012. This honor recognizes Florida Farm Bureau as the best state Farm Bureau within its membership group.
Announced at the American Farm Bureau’s Annual Meeting in Nashville, Tenn. on Jan. 13, the award caps a stellar year for the Voice of Florida Agriculture. Florida Farm Bureau previously received the AFBF’s 2012 Awards of Excellence for all major categories of operation evaluated. The state Farm Bureau also garnered the President’s Award for Leadership Development and for Member Services, denoting superior accomplishments in those activities.
“I have known for a long time that our organization is one of the best state Farm Bureaus in the nation,” said Florida Farm Bureau President John Hoblick. “I am very proud of our volunteer leaders, our members and our staff.
“We work together to serve our members’ interests,” Hoblick added. “This honor demonstrates that our dedication and consistent effort merit national prominence. I thank everyone for their contributions to this outstanding result.”
