Purchase Repair Materials for Farm Fences and Buildings by Thursday

May 31 is the deadline to make all purchases of materials used to repair hurricane-damaged farm fences and non-residential farm buildings. Farmers and ranchers must purchase any materials needed for repair by May 31 to be eligible to receive a refund for the sales taxes paid.

The deadline for a rebate on the state and local taxes paid for fuel used to transport agricultural products is June 30. The deadline to submit receipts and forms to the Florida Department of Revenue will be December 31, 2018. Visit www.floridafarmbureau.org/hurricanetaxrebate.
