Florida Farm Bureau Federation has released the 11th episode of its monthly podcast, Rural Recharge.
In this episode, Florida Farm Bureau Federation President Jeb S. Smith sat down with the Florida Farm Bureau Farmer of the Year, Jason Watts, and his wife, Amanda. Watts provides a complete overview of their family farm along with history, wisdom and a positive outlook for the future of agriculture in Florida. Watts’ family has deep roots agricultural roots and Jason is proud to continue the tradition. He owns Florida Best Farms, Inc., and grows blueberries, muscadine grapes and raises beef cattle. Amanda and the couples’ and children are involved in the day-to-day operations of the farm and work together to enrich their community.
