Call for Market-Based Trade Solutions

Florida Farm Bureau is deeply disappointed by the Administration’s move to flood the beef market with underpriced imports. Farmers and ranchers are already contending with high input and regulatory costs, weather challenges, and supply chain disruptions. This action triggered immediate market shocks at the height of cattle marketing season — impacts producers will feel long after the tariff relief ends.


We share the goal of affordable groceries, but undermining domestic food supply only deepens our dependence on foreign nations and weakens America’s food security. We call upon President Trump to abandon this plan, and stand ready to help the Administration work with our farmers and ranchers toward market-based solutions that support domestic production and lower consumer costs.
