The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has announced it is seeking nominations for individuals willing to serve on the Farm, Ranch, and Rural Communities Federal Advisory Committee (FRRCC).
The FRRCC serves as an advisory board that addresses specific topics of relevance to agriculture as identified by the EPA Administrator. These topics cover a range of environmental issues and policies that are important to agriculture and rural communities.
The committee consists of members from a variety of relevant agricultural sectors including farmers, ranchers, and rural communities; allied industries, including farm groups, rural suppliers, marketers, and processors; academia and researchers; state, local, and tribal government; and nongovernmental organizations.
To be considered for an appointment to the FRRCC, applications should be submitted to [email protected] by March 2, 2026. Florida Farm Bureau members interested in learning more can reach out to the Government and Community Affairs staff or click here.
