FDACS Announces 2023 Florida Ag Hall of Fame Inductees

The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services announced the 2023 Florida Agricultural Hall of Fame inductees. Dr. John T. Woeste (Alachua County) and Donald J. Quincey (Levy County) are both Farm Bureau members who will join 171 other inductees in the Hall of Fame. The 2022 honorees will be inducted at the Florida State Fair’s Agricultural Hall of Fame Banquet on Feb. 14, 2023.

The Florida Agricultural Hall of Fame honors men and women who have made long-term contributions to Florida agriculture. Those inducted have dedicated time and resources to ensure the industry continues to thrive.

“I am honored to recognize two such individuals whose contributions have strengthened Florida agriculture for generations to come. Both Mr. Quincey and Mr. Woeste stand apart for their leadership, dedication, and innovative practices, expanding our agricultural industry and creating new opportunities for both our state and the farmers of tomorrow,” said Commissioner Nikki Fried.
