Florida Pork Improvement Group Helps Launch Southeast Pork Alliance

During the Southeast Summer Conference in July, six state pork organizations, including the Florida Pork Improvement Group, announced the formation of the Southeast Pork Alliance.

The producer-led regional partnership aims to strengthen the pork industry through collaboration, advocacy, innovation and the sharing of resources across participating states.

The Southeast faces unique opportunities and challenges as one of the fastest-growing regions in the nation. Florida alone welcomes an estimated 550 new residents each day. As populations grow and consumer expectations continue to evolve, maintaining a strong voice for pork producers will be essential to supporting the industry’s future and advancing sound agricultural policy.

The Southeast Pork Alliance includes:

  • Kentucky Pork Producers Association
  • Tennessee Pork Producers Association
  • Mississippi Pork Producers Association
  • Alabama Pork Producers
  • Georgia Pork Producers Association
  • Florida Pork Improvement Group
