Second Annual Ag Day Draws Thousands of Fans

Florida Farm Bureau hosted its second annual Ag Day on Saturday, September 17, as the University of Florida Gators took on the University of South Florida Bulls.

Thousands of fans were able to experience Florida agriculture through interactive regional farm displays, sample fresh food and tailgate with family-friendly games.

The Ag Day celebration continued with an on-field recognition of Florida’s 2022 Farmer of the Year, Jerry Dakin. FFBF President Jeb S. Smith joined Mr. Dakin on-field to receive the game day ball during the first time-out of the game.

Additionally, Florida Farm Bureau members were invited to an exclusive Membership Appreciation Tailgate where they enjoyed a catered meal and fellowship before the game.

Thank you to all of our staff and volunteers who helped make this event possible. The Home Field AGvantage was a success because of you.
