Vote YES on Amendment 2

Farmers need your help on the ballot.

Currently, Florida farmers and ranchers pay annual taxes on farm equipment that was already taxed when it was purchased. A YES vote on Amendment 2 would exempt qualifying agricultural equipment from tangible personal property taxes effective Jan. 1, 2027, if approved by at least 60% of Florida voters.

What is tangible personal property?

Tangible personal property refers to agricultural equipment (not land or buildings) that is used to produce agricultural products or support agritourism activities. It’s the equipment that farmers use every day to produce the food, fiber and products we all rely on.

How would voting YES on Amendment 2 help farmers?

Reducing the cost of doing business for Florida farmers and ranchers would protect local food production, preserve family farms and keep Florida agriculture strong for future generations.
