Florida Farm Bureau Member Appointed to EPA Advisory Committee

Florida Farm Bureau member Kate English of Fort Myers has been appointed to the EPA’s Farm, Ranch and Rural Communities Federal Advisory Committee. English is one of 21 new members selected to provide independent policy advice and recommendations to EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin on key environmental issues affecting agriculture and rural communities.

English is a Partner with Pavese Law Firm, where she represents clients in agricultural, environmental, land use and natural resource matters.

The selection process began in July 2024 with more than 80 applicants. Members were chosen for their expertise in key EPA priority areas and represent a variety of agricultural sectors and rural stakeholders.
